Who is responsible

Tagus BV, a company registered in Belgium under company number BE 1011.600.132, is the controller for the personal data described here.

What we collect

The email you send us. If you write to us we receive whatever you choose to put in that message. This site has no contact form, so nothing is collected unless you send it yourself.

Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data — IP address, time, page requested, browser — as part of operating and securing the site.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind. See the cookie notice.

Why, and on what basis

We use what you send us to answer your enquiry and, where it leads somewhere, to discuss a possible project. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

Server logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to send marketing you did not ask for.

Who else sees it

The website is hosted by Combell and email is handled by bNamed. Both are Belgian providers and act as processors on our instructions. The data stays in Belgium: there is no transfer outside the European Union.

Beyond that, your data is not shared. If a project ever required involving a specialist collaborator, we would ask you first.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work: kept until it is clear that no engagement will follow, and in no case longer than 24 months. Correspondence related to a project is kept for as long as we are required to keep business records under Belgian law.

You can ask us to delete an enquiry at any time.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict its use. Write to info@tagus.be and we will answer within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

Changes

If we add anything that changes what we collect — analytics, for example — we will update this page before doing so, and ask for consent where consent is required.
